  5. Awesome attic. I wish I had a bedroom attic. Instead, I have to live in a
    crappy small house. 🙁 Well, atleast it’s not the crappiest. I already know
    what’s the crappiest and the smallest.

    If I bid this project today, it would cost close to $70,000 because the
    finished area was 36 x 12 plus storage areas and dormer built-ins on either
    side. If you add a bath to the mix, figure another $16,000 or so.

  10. Very nice, do able because this house had the proper roof pitch,a lower
    i.e. 6-12 you,ed have apparent problem and increased cost, it,s all about
    original head room to build from.I know because I have this situation and
    have to raise my rafters ,probable build right on and over my existing
    roof,that roof looks close to 12-10 pitch.
