  1. have fun,I cringe when the wife gets ideas.

  2. The Shade Tree Fix-it Man

Carpentry is fun too. Should be a fun project. Really neat fixtures.

  3. good stuff, thats my winter project too. painting 3 rooms and getting the
112 year old farm house in order

  4. in my opinion the cabinet doors are fine as they are 🙂 maybe a clear to
    protect them? Have fun 😉

  5. If you’re already into filling, prepping and painting and if adding
insulation would solve the ice dam problem, how about putting a layer of
Styrofoam SM on the ceiling and covering that with drywall? 1.5″ SM, .5″
drywall, just a 2″ loss of ceiling height and the foam spans the framing.
Ideally the interior wall would be covered as well so that the top plate is
well insulated and isolated from the heated interior space. Failing that
    perhaps an insulated cornice detail?

  6. i love the sink and toilet……. awesome

  7. Kind of a remodelling gang too, always fun to watch lol

  8. Love the octagonal windows 🙂 Not sure i want to be watched from outside
though ha ha 🙂 Nice room, you did a great job with what you had, just
needs a little revamp and you can escape back to the garage lol 🙂

  9. Wow.. Nice to see a bathroom that is a regular folks type of bathroom. Good
luck with your project. Looking forward to see your progress..

  15. it worked well

  16. no built in hot tub here,,

  17. on the upstairs theres 3 feet of standing seem copper on the edge of the
roof, never had a problem up there,,

  18. Well, your lucky!

  19. heat wire on the edge of the roof

  20. Figuerd 🙂 Sometimes it feels like your watching live hehe

  21. they have plug in cord to place on the edge on the roof to stop the ice
damming..that may help u. cant wait to see it finished

  22. That’s one the fanciest crappers I’ve ever seen.

  23. I get ice dams too, I added one of those wire ice melters to my valleys and
that helped a lot. I haven’t had a backup since. I only turn it on when we
get snow and then a melt.

  24. Gotta love those old houses! Nice work!
