WITH icy conditions continuing to grip the region and energy prices
soaring, homeowners are being urged to act now to prepare their
properties against the harsh effects of winter.
Homes are vulnerable to attack from both the outside elements and
the moist, warm conditions that build up inside during the winter
As well as taking its toll on your home, poor weather can have an
impact on your heating and maintenance bills.
However, by carrying out quick checks to your property and making a
few simple changes it could help cut bills, leaving money in your pocket

exterior of a house takes a battering in the winter so a 360 degree
assessment of its current condition is advisable – think roof, walls,
floors, windows and doors and repair, seal or insulate in·su·late
